Our puppies are raised with ENS & ESI!!!!
What is ENS?
ENS - Early Neurological Stimulation
Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to ENS, including improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate); stronger heart beats; stronger adrenal glands; more tolerance to stress; and greater resistance to disease.
ESI - Early Scent Introduction
Early scent introduction (ESI) is a training program for puppies designed to enhance their ability to identify, and react to, specific scents.

-Tails Docked to show length, Dewclaws are left intact
-Lifelong Breeder Support!!
How is my Puppy Raised?
-Puppies are raised in home and underfoot. ENS and ESI protocols are started on Day 3 thru Day 16 and then transition to a full curriculum of Puppy Culture and Avidog rearing protocols. Daily handling and dam checks happen from hour 1. Grooming training starts on week 3, with desensitizing starting earlier. Nails are clipped / filed weekly. We introduce new novelty items daily at around 3 weeks, sounds, sensations, and 7 different types of flooring. Puppies are started on potty training with pellets ( wood and Alfalfa) to get them used to the small of grass. As soon as we are able to start going outside, we encourage outside potty breaks multiple times a day. Basic lead training and crate training begins around 6 weeks old. They have a variety of visitors, car rides, toys, chews, and noises to help them better acclimate to new families!!
Vaccination & Deworming Protocol
We utilize a Neopar vaccine at 5 weeks due to the region we live in. This gives pups an extra parvo only booster as Oklahoma has a higher rate of parvo cases. Puppies are dewormed every 2 weeks. At 7.5-8 weeks old, puppies receive their "first" puppy shot, vet health exam, fecal exam, and their fourth deworming.
How do I Choose my Puppy?
All puppies are temperament tested at 7 weeks of age using APET aptitude testing or Volhard Testing methods. This helps us make informed decisions about the best placement for puppies depending on lifestyle / family needs or desires. At 8 weeks, show prospects and any SD prospects are reserved at this time. Pet / Performance homes are then matched up according to Pick order / Deposit placed. We do try to keep in mind preferred color / sex, but strive to place puppies in homes based on temperament results to have the best match!!
There are NO guarantees to color or size as colors can fade and size is just an approximation. Breeder will share any and all testing & evaluation information via video, email, and or phone conversations. Puppies / Dogs placed into service/ therapy/ and or performance homes are placed with the POTENTAL to do so, this is not a guarantee.
Temperament Testing:
Breeder agrees to temperament test the puppy/dog via Volhard or APET Temperament Test, at or around 7 weeks old from an outside, unbiased knowledgeable evaluator. This evaluation assesses the puppies various strengths and weaknesses at the time of testing. This can provide some predictive clues to the puppy/dog personality, sociability, and potential trainability. The testing helps to determine which puppies have the most suitable personalities for their future homes. Like any test, a puppy temperament test can assess particular qualities at that point in time. Environment, fear stages, and age plays a significant role, and temperament can be affected by the environment the puppy goes into.
Health Testing:
Faksa Poodles strives to ensure that sire and dam are tested per CHIC requirements and or what is suggested by our parent club, PCA Poodle Club of America. That being said, Breeder will make public or supply printed copies of parents health testing to include a minimum of Hips, Elbows, Eyes, and genetic screenings. Information will be verifiable either at https://ofa.org/ or

What is this??
Drs. John Scott and John Fuller were the first to identify critical periods in the development of the canine in 1953. A critical period is a specific time in the maturation process when a small amount of experience will produce a great effect on later behavior. There is a window of opportunity in which certain experiences need to happen at a specific time, or the window will close and the potential benefits of those experiences will be lost.
Scott and Fuller labeled the period of time from 21 to 49 days as the Canine Socialization Period. Starting at about 3 weeks, puppies learn that they are dogs and start exploring life. It is important that puppies be kept primarily with their mother and siblings during this time so they can learn important life lessons from both, such as how to play appropriately and bite inhibition.
